Sales Development Representative

Numecent is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to facilitate inbound and outbound selling of its product and service portfolio. The ideal candidate will have experience with cold-calling, handling inbound leads, selling business-to-business (B2B) solutions, excellent communication skills, and enterprise Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • Experience selling to VPs, Directors, and Enterprise Architects within IT organizations
  • Ability to prospect new and existing leads
  • Ability to operate with a strong sense of urgency and deliver results
  • Possess strong negotiation skills and can effectively close deals
  • Self-motivated, persistent, and goal-oriented
  • Interested engaging prospects working in enterprise IT environments
  • Team player with entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to try new ideas in order to achieve greater levels of success
  • Proficiency with sales Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms (e.g., HubSpot), the Microsoft Office suite, and learning new systems and software
  • Requires access to stable internet for remote working operations

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery of our overall sales goals by engaging inbound and outbound sales prospects to book product demos and expand Numecent’s sales pipeline
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly outreach goals (e.g., outbound call and email volume) while providing an excellent experience for prospective customers
  • Enhance prospect information stored in Numecent’s CRM through consistent documentation of prospect or client interactions
  • Establish consistent communication with prospects through written and verbal communication to book demos, assist with discovery/evaluation of Numecent offerings, and drive deal closure
  • Prospect marketing-generated leads and search for key points of contact using the Numecent sales tools (e.g., CRM, prospecting tools, etc.)
  • Drive engagement with prospects through personally crafted sequences and/or marketing materials made available via HubSpot
  • Document details of each prospective client interaction in HubSpot to improve the customer experience and drive deal closure
  • Take a consultative approach to selling by seeking to understand the needs and business priorities of Numecent prospects
  • Guide prospects through needs analysis and discovery sessions to qualify the lead and drive new opportunities
  • Consistently follow-up on prospective client inquiries

Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with HubSpot Sales Hub (CRM)
  • Experience selling cloud and/or SaaS products
  • Experience selling products/services in the End User Computing vertical
