AWS Selects Numecent as their Exclusive Partner for Upgrading from WorkSpaces Application Manager to Cloudpager

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has selected Numecent as their exclusive partner to run WAM packages (read the AWS blog here). Over the past few months we have been working diligently to create an automated process for existing Amazon WorkSpaces Application Manager (Amazon WAM) customers to upgrade to Cloudpager, with no additional cost to switch platforms.

Cloudpager is the first and only solution to provide native support for Amazon WorkSpaces and WAM packages (read the press release announced last week here). This ensures existing WAM packages can lift and shift to Cloudpager, maintaining all their existing contents and functionality (e.g., fonts, drivers support, CAEs) without any changes to the packages themselves.

All you have to do is create a support ticket and your work is done. We’ll have your WAM upgrade ready for deployment within hours. Upon signing into your new Cloudpager tenant, all your existing WAM applications will be ready for deployment.

Instantly Enhance WAM Applications and Desktop IT Operations with Cloudpager

Improve WAM Application Performance and Mobility

Instantly improve application performance and expand upon your deployment options, simply by moving your WAM packages to Cloudpager. As the first and only container management platform for Windows desktops, Cloudpager can dynamically provision application containers and application updates to any modern desktop environment, including physical laptops and desktops.

Moreover, you can dynamically provision applications to active user sessions without requiring them to log off or reboot, drastically reducing downtime.

Expand Windows OS and Application Container Support

Upon signing into your new Cloudpager tenant, all your WAM packages will be ready to deploy onto Amazon WorkSpaces. In addition to WorkSpaces, you gain the capability to deliver to any modern Windows desktop environment, including Windows 10, Windows 11, Server 2019, Server 2022, and more.*

Moreover, Cloudpager provides support for multiple application container formats, including WAM, App-V, MSIX, and Cloudpaging. This makes it easy to centralize your entire application estate in the cloud and seamlessly deploy them to your Amazon WorkSpaces users without the need to be repackaged.

*there may be additional cost to deploy applications outside your existing Amazon WorkSpaces environments
